The goal was to promote a stigma-free space to talk about all things mental health and self-care. What started as an Instagram community came together as a response to there not existing enough places where brave conversations about mental health felt safe. The community created by Self Care Is For Everyone is a safe space where people can feel supported and be reminded to practice self-care and includes mental health advocates, spotlights independent artists, and collaborates with non-profit groups

Although this story was originally shared on September 25, 2019, it’s message continues to resonate today.
